Appointment was scheduled at 8:20am, and the officer called us back for our interview right on time. The officer went over our I485 form, and asked a few questions such as when we were married, and where we are living.
She asked for proof of our on going relationship, and all supporting documents were taken, reviewed, and placed in our file. She then entered the information into her system and approved our case. The whole process was roughly 30 minutes. Very fast and easy process.

We arrived 15 minutes prior to scheduled interview time and were the only ones in the waiting area. There was a woman with 2 kids completing biometrics. Later some people arrived for their biometrics appointments and some other things they needed to do there. We waited for 45 minutes until a male officer finally saw off people and invited us in. He announced right away that he wants to be done with our interview fast, because he had a very long 2 hour interview right before us. He asked my husband if he speaks German which he doesn't, but both my husband and the immigration officer have very distinct German last names. He saw my thick folder with documents and a photo album and was wondering what is it I have there. I told him and he proceeded with the interview itself. The first questions what is form I-485, when I answered he said it is not entirely correct but this is the closest answer to the right one he has heard yet. Basically all standard questions: name, address, if I am married, all the questions about terrorists and clubs or societies, if I fulfilled the 2 year stay in home country after J-1, if I had ever been arrested. He asked my husband if he is married to me and if he is also married to anyone else in the entire world. He said he has all the documents and doesn't need anything from us, but he will still take a look at my thick folder just to comply with work protocol. He said keep it all cuz you will need it to apply for a 10 yar green card. I also offered him to take a look at my EAD/AP combo card and he said he doesn't need to, he knows I got it. At the end he put a big red stamp on the form I-485 that said APPROVED and gave us the paper that explained when and how to file for a 10 year green card. He said normally it takes 7-10 days to receive the green card, but if I don't get it in 30 days to give him a call. The interview took 20 minutes tops and we were out. He was very nice and joking a lot. Overall I am very satisfied with everything!

My wife and I took turn being interviewed by one USCIS officer. Each interviews went for about 1/2 hour. Then we were taken together to wrap up the AOS application. The officer was very friendly and the application was approved on the spot.

Very straight forward and not stressful interview to adjust status. Both of us were present at all times, they just asked us conversational questions about our lives (work, home, kids etc.)
They ask the list of standard questions about whether you are a terrorist/ communist, drug addict etc.
We got an approval on the computer very quickly and expect/hope to get the Green Card in 3 weeks.
